Ugly Betty..then Gray's Anatomy... if I can make it that long.  I've been vegging today... and it's kinda fun and kinda blah.  Exercised a lot with Summer.  Maybe I'll watch Delicious Proposal afterwards too. Blah life.

So I just took Summer for a walk. It's my third walk with her since coming here yesterday.  She's been really good..super affectionate...super awesome.  She's really adorable when she walks...and when she lays down...and eats doggie food...and everything. 

This is what's happened so far on our 1 month adventure.

I came here last night around 5:30 PM.  I managed to get through Friday afternoon traffic and arrive just in time to take her out for a walk.  She was pretty excited for our circle eight walk around the block. There were surprisingly tons of dogs in the area that were barking at us all throughout.  But Summer did pretty well.  Picking up poop was kind of interesting...something that I didn't do quite as often with Cuteness.

Took Summer shopping with me to Star Markets afterwards.... bought lots of drinks and some meat and some fruits.  I intended get Summer her Eukanuba but realized that Star Market didn't carry that. Maybe another time.  Came back and set up the bed in the living room...and found Summer quickly on the bed and asleep. What a cute little gal.

Didn't sleep very well last night.  Don't know whether it was the AC or a new environment.  Woke up several times to find Summer constantly next to me. It was nice.... but hopefully I'll sleep throughou the night tonight.  Oh! I know what it was....I wasn't sure if Summer needed to go or not because I took her out once before going to bed, but I don't think she went.

Woke up this morning and walked Summer around the block... it was really bright out.. but kind of refreshing to go out for a walk that early on. =)  Cooked myself breakfast afterwards. Made scrambled eggs, bacon, and corn.  Realized how much I miss having my mommy cook breakfast for me.  But I suppose I have to grow up one day or another and do all this fun jazz.  I'm surprised at how terrible of a cook I am.  I mean...everything turned out okay and was edible... but I managed to use lots of plates and frying pans in the process.  Maybe I'll get better with more practice.  I missed my mommy again when I had to do the dishes.

Watched a little of 13 Going onto 30 on TV, then decided to do a little reading.  I started Eat. Pray. Love. last night and picked it up more today.  Read a few chapters then fell asleep. Read another few chapters then fell asleep. 

I'm surprised at how loyal Summer is...  she's always next to me.  And if she's ever not close to me, she'll come running when I call her name.  When I was walking this afternoon, I kept wondering if I was a cat person or dog person... I have a cat...and I adore her a lot.... but I don't get to take her out for walks and she's not super affectionate.  I'm dog sitting Summer and I really like all these different traits in her....but I don't know if I need that independence of a cat in my companion.  I'm considering getting a puppy after Cuteness passes away.  But who knows... she *hopefully* won't croak until a decade from now.  I don't know if I'll change my taste in pets by then.  I'm actually pretty content with Cuteness...sans the fact that she likes to bite me occassionally.    *sighs*

Let's see....ate bacon for lunch... chatted with a long lost friend... and wondered if I made the right decision.  I suppose I'll never know but I shouldn't regret the past.  Everything happens for a reason. 

I wonder if I'll end up like that Eat. Pray. Love. lady...  maybe one of these days, I'll find myself in France living my dreams.  That is what happened to that lady in Je t'aime, Paris.

Oh, there are dogs all around this neighborhood.  And noisy children.  And a equally loud wind chime.    Maybe in a few days, these noises will fade into the background and I won't even notice them.
